In the year 3027, humanity stands on the brink of extinction after physicists uncover a terrifying truth: a parallel universe exists alongside our own where time flows backward. As a rare cosmic alignment known as Totality approaches, the fragile barrier separating the two realities begins to collapse. Emerging from a mysterious realm called the Interstice are deadly, squid-like creatures whose very existence defies the laws of time. If even one of these beings fully crosses into our universe, the collision of opposing temporal forces will trigger a catastrophic chain reaction capable of unraveling reality itself. With less than five hours remaining, an elite military task force races across a devastated landscape hunting the creatures and collecting the glowing chronal worms hidden within their skulls—the only resource capable of powering a device that may seal the breach forever.
